Transition to Secondary School Lesson or Form Time Tutorial / Assembly resource which looks at some of the key information year 6/7 students should have when they begin Secondary School and reinforces the idea that this is a fresh start and chance to create a good impression.

This lesson forms part of our 2026 RSHE guidance curriculum. We have planned for it to be used as year 7, term 1, lesson 2 but there is no need to have delivered our other lessons alongside it. We offer complete packages should you wish to purchase our resources at a significantly reduced price.
This is an easy to follow power point lesson (no prior planning, printing or preparation required). The resource is designed to be delivered as one 60 minute session but all of our resources are fully editable and designed to allow sections to be added, removed or changed should you need to do so.
No previous knowledge in the subject area is needed, the lesson is easily deliverable by someone who is not a subject specialist or an experienced PSHE teacher. Lesson meets 2026 RSHE / PSHE guidance.
