Conflict Resolution / Escalation and De-escalation of conflict 2026 PSHE lesson / tutor time resource. This resource looks at why conflicts might escalate, how to de-escalate potential conflicts and the importance of doing so in order to keep safe. The lesson also considers violent conflict and joint enterprise.
This resource is designed as part of our 2026 RSHE curriculum and follows on from our lesson on the characteristics of positive relationships but also works as an independent lesson. This is an easy to follow power point lesson (no prior planning, printing or preparation required). The resource is designed to be delivered as one 60 / 20 minute lesson (depending on tasks chosen) but all of our resources are fully editable and designed to allow sections to be added or removed should you need to do so.
No previous knowledge in the subject area is needed, as the lesson is easily deliverable by someone who is not a subject specialist or experienced PSHE teachers. Lesson meets current UK PSHE guidance.
